The 4th Annual Utah Golf Marathon, 2011

Utah's "Longest Day of Golf" on June 21 will find 120 enthusiasts winding up one of their most memorable and challenging days on The Links at Sleepy Ridge Golf Course in Orem, Utah. Their golfing skills and endurance will be tested in an atmosphere of fun and competition.

A maximum of 30 "foursomes" will participate in the 2011 Utah Golf Marathon at Sleepy Ridge Golf Course on June 21. The marathon features 54 holes of golf (three rounds) in one day, beginning at 6:30am and finishing about 7:30pm

Check-in with continental breakfast provided by Fresh Markets is open at 6:00am in front of the Sleepy Ridge Club House where registration takes place.

Prizes will be awarded for longest drives, closest to the hole, best individual 18 holes, best four-person scramble, best two-person scramble, and other contests, including a chance to win $10,000 for a hole-in-one. All golfers who complete the 54 holes will receive a certificate and shirt for their participation.

Golfers will have their pictures taken with celebrities who will be present for the first round of golf.

Fresh Markets will provide treats and soft drinks at every hole throughout the day. Fat Boy Ice Cream and other snacks will be furnished also during the day. Landmark II Catering will furnish hamburgers, hot dogs, salads and watermelon for lunch from 10:00am to 4:00pm on the putting green where massage therapists under tents will provide relaxing massages in the afternoon. The Golf Marathon Awards Ceremony and dinner will begin at 7:00pm with a salmon buffet also provided by Landmark II Catering.
